Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Lexi Taylor, 5-7 Sr. Allie Rae Thompson, 5-8 Jr. Caroline Scott, 5-3 Jr. Emily Ezell, and 5-5 Sr. Emmy Ralph.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 Fr. Alex Wolff, 5-10 Fr. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Jr. Kristen Claemons, 5-5 Jr. Destinee Marshall, and 5-6 Sr. Ashlee Harris.

Sacred Heart Academy raced out to a 24-9 lead in the second quarter on their way to a 65-58 victory over Bullitt East.  Sacred Heart shot 40.4% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 16 of 27 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 33.8% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Sacred Heart Academy.

Destinee Marshall led Sacred Heart Academy with 21 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Kristen Clemons added 18 points, 19 rebounds, five assists, and three blocked shots.  Ashlee Harris recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists. 

Emmy Ralph led Bullitt East with 18 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  5-7 Fr. Emma Egan added 10 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Lexi Taylor recorded eight points and 13 rebounds.  Caroline Scott chipped in with five points and 10 rebounds.  5-8 So. Selena Granado recorded seven points and five rebounds.
