Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Kobi Harris, 6-1 Sr. Bryce Long, 6-5 Jr. Terrin Hamilton, 5-9 Sr. Diablo Stewart, and 6-0 Sr. Glenn Covington. Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-3 Sr. Michael Corio, 6-2 Sr. Nathanly Clark, 6-7 Sr. Trevor Rogers, 6-1 Sr. Walker Mack, and 6-2 Sr. Jared Gadd.
Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded a big upset with a 91-84 victory over Scott County. There were seven lead changes and three ties in this game. Terrin Hamilton led Scott County with 25 points including 10 of 12 free throws, six rebounds, and two blocked shots. Glenn Covington added 23 points including six three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. 5-8 Sr. Cam Fluker recorded 13 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Bryce Long added 12 points and 10 rebounds.
