Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Elise Ellison-Coons, 5-7 Sr. Cheyenne Fullwood, 5-8 So. Haley Gadd, 5-7 Sr. Jailyn Ginter, and 5-8 So. Tanaya Cecil.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-7 Sr. Zahrea Gill, 5-7 Sr. Gabby Duerson, 5-9 Sr. Logan Hudson, 5-6 Sr. Kelsey Powell, and 5-6 Sr. Madison Barnard.

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Madison Central by a score of 62-38.  Dunbar shot 38.6% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 13 of 28 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 27 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 30.2% from the field including one of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Dunbar turnovers.

Elise Ellison-Coons led Dunbar with 19 points including two three point baskets, 12 rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and two steals.  5-8 Fr. Aziah Campbell added 16 points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Campbell was six of six from the field and four of six from the free throw line.  Cheyenne Fullwood recorded 11 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Madison Barnard led Madison Central with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  5-7 Jr. Taleya Todd added 11 points.  5-10 Jr. Jekauri McKeithen recorded four points, 11 rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Logan Hudson chipped in with four points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
