Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Bria Bass, 6-0 Jr. Catie Kaifes, 6-2 Sr. Madison Pierce, 5-8 Jr. Shay Solomon, and 5-11 Gr. Paige Murphy.  Morehead State University coach Greg Todd countered with 5-10 Gr. Mckenzie Calvert, 5-11 Sr. Crystal Simmons-Cozar, 6-3 Sr. Tierra McGowan, 5-4 Sr. Darianne Seward, and 5-8 Sr. Miranda Crockett.

Morehead State University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by a score of 68-52.  Morehead State shot 37.5% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line.  They connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 25 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 36.2% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Morehead State turnovers.

Miranda Crockett led Morehead State with 16 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.  6-1 Jr. Aliyah Jeune added 13 points including three three point baskets, four assists, and two blocked shots.  Tierra McGowan recorded nine points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. 

Bria Bass led Eastern Kentucky with nine points and six rebounds.  5-11 Sr. Abby Wright added eight points including two three point baskets.  Shay Solomon recorded seven points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  5-6 Sr. Teri Goodlett chipped in with seven points, two rebounds, and three assists.
