Seneca coach Latasha Peterson started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Breanna Anthony, 5-10 Sr. Dais Ja Trotter, 5-10 Jr. Kaylyn Lane, 4-11 Sr. Cassidy Spurling, and 5-8 Sr. Jamia Brightwell. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 Fr. Alex Wolff, 5-10 Fr. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Jr. Kristen Clemons, 5-6 Sr. Ashlee Harris, and 5-9 Jr. Callie Birk.
Sacred Heart Academy defeated Seneca by a score of 82-37. Sacred Heart shot 52.3% from the field including 10 of 21 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Seneca turnovers. Seneca shot 25.9% from the field including one of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Redhawks connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and did not score off nine Sacred Heart turnovers.
5-7 So. Maggie Montano led Sacred Heart Academy with 19 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists in 15:22 minutes of playing time. Kristen Clemons added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Ashlee Harris recorded 13 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and nine assists. Jose Gilvin chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds. 5-7 Fr. Olivia Kaufman added 11 points including three three point baskets. Alex Wolff recorded 10 points.
Dais Ja Trotter led Seneca with 18 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Breanna Anthony added six points and eight rebounds.
