Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Bria Bass, 5-11 Gr.. Paige Murphy, 6-2 Sr. Madison Pierce, 5-8 Jr. Shay Solomon, and 6-0 Jr. Catie Kaifes.  Jacksonville State University coach Rick Pietri countered with 6-1 Jr. Chloe Long, 5-11 Sr. Destiney Elliott, 6-2 Sr. Rayven Pearson, 5-6 So. Taylor Hawks, and 5-9 So. Jayla Walker.

Eastern Kentucky rallied to cut a 14 point fourth quarter deficit to two late in the game but Jacksonville State survived to earn a 69-64 victory.  There were four ties and five lead changes in the game.  Jacksonville State shot 35.6% from the field including six of 26 from the three point line.  They connected on 21 of 38 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 23 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 54.3% from the field including eight of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Jacksonville State turnovers.

Rayven Pearson led Jacksonville State with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and two steals.  5-11 Fr. Yamia Johnson added 15 points including two three point baskets.  5-10 So. McKenna Lawrence recorded nine points on three three point baskets.  Taylor Hawks added eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

5-11 Sr. Abby Wright led Eastern Kentucky with 22 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, and two steals.  Paige Murphy added 13 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Shay Solomon recorded 11 points and four assists.  Bria Bass added six points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.
