Trinity coach Mike Szabo started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. David Johnson, 6-3 Sr. Jamil Hardaway, 6-4 Sr. Stan Turnier, 5-8 Sr. Kolton Rice, and 6-0 Sr. Kamari Kenemore. Ashland Blazer coach Jason Mays countered with 6-1 Jr. Ethan Hudson, 6-1 Jr. Justin Bradley, 6-3 Sr. Devauntae Robinson, 5-9 Fr. Ethan Sellars, and 6-1 Fr. Cole Villers.
Trinity defeated Ashland Blazer by a score of 60-30. Trinity shot 56.1% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line. The Shamrocks connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 17 Ashland Blazer turnovers. Ashland Blazer shot 33.3% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc. The Tomcats connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored four points off seven Trinity turnovers.
Stan Turnier led Trinity with 16 points including three three point baskets. David Johnson added 13 points and four rebounds. Kolton Rice recorded 11 points and five rebounds.
Ethan Sellars led Ashland Blazer with 10 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds. Devauntae Robinson added nine points including five of six free throws. 5-9 Jr. Chris May recorded six points on two three point baskets. Justin Bradley pulled down six rebounds.
