Bethlehem coach Jason Clark started the following lineup: 6-0 So. Ella Thompson, 5-9 Sr. Maddie Sparks, 5-11 Jr. Mikiah Livers-Bryant, 5-4 Sr. Carly Beam, and 5-6 So. Amelia Hodges. Owensboro Catholic coach Michael Robertson countered with 6-0 Jr. Hannah McKay, 5-11 Sr. Madelyn Lyon, 6-0 Sr. MacKenzie Keelin, 5-7 Jr. Caroline Reid, and 5-8 Jr. Spencer Harvey.
Owensboro Catholic outscored Bethlehem 18-12 in the final quarter to earn a hard fought 53-47 victory. The score was tied eight times and there were 10 lead changes in the game. Owensboro Catholic shot 45.7% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line. The Lady Aces connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 11 points of 11 Bethlehem turnovers. Bethlehem shot 26.3% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc. The Banshees connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 19 Owensboro Catholic turnovers.
MacKenzie Keelin led Owensboro Catholic with 15 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds. Hannah McKay added 14 points including six of seven free throws, nine rebounds, and three steals. 6-2 Sr. Sarah Beth Clemens recorded 10 points, three rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots. Madelyn Lyon chipped in with seven points, nine rebounds, and two assists.
Ella Thompson led Bethlehem with 14 points including seven of eight free throws, nine rebounds, and three steals. Amelia Hodges added 14 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Mikiah Livers-Bryant recorded six points, 10 rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots, and two steals.
