Southwestern coach Stephen Butcher II started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Kallie Sheron, 5-8 Jr. Kennedy Harris, 5-10 Jr. Regi Cundiff, 5-4 Jr. Jenna Wood, and 5-6 So. Alexa Smiddy. Collins coach Sean Pigman countered with 5-11 Sr. Trinity Warfield, 5-9 Sr. Jeian Hayes, 6-1 Sr. Mary-Clare Megibben, 5-8 Sr. Hallie Renfro, and 5-10 Jr. Olivia Federle.
Southwestern defeated Collins by a score of 58-47. The score was tied four times and there were seven lead changes in this game. Southwestern shot 37.8% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line. The Lady Warriors connected on 18 of 28 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Collins turnovers. Collins shot 37.5% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Titans connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Southwestern turnovers.
Kallie Sheron led Southwestern with 18 points including eight of 10 free throws, and 12 rebounds. Kennedy Harris added 13 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists. Regi Cundiff recorded 11 points including three of four free throws. Alexa Smiddy chipped in with 10 points including five of seven free throws, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Olivia Federle led Collins with 16 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Trinity Warfield added nine points and three rebounds. Mary-Clare Megibben recorded eight points, six rebounds, and six blocked shots.
