Henderson County coach Jeff Haile started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Emilee Hope, 5-5 So. Lauren Hubbard, 5-9 Sr. Alyssa Dickson, 5-3 Fr. Kaytlan Kemp, and 5-6 Sr. Katie Rideout. North Laurel coach Eddie Mahan Jr. countered with 5-9 Jr. Isabel Gray, 5-5 Jr. Gracie Jervis, 6-4 Sr. Raegan Hubbard, 5-3 Fr. Hailee Valentine, and 5-6 Fr. Emily Sizemore.
North Laurel defeated Henderson County by a score of 66-43. North Laurel shot 54.5% from the field including three of six from the three point line. The Lady Jaguars connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Henderson County turnovers. Henderson County shot 34.7% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Colonels connected on four of five free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 North Laurel turnovers.
Emily Sizamore led North Laurel with 20 points and eight rebounds. Raegan Hubbard added 15 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Gracie Jervis recorded 12 points including five of six free throws, seven assists, and two steals. Hailee Valentine chipped in with 11 points, three assists, and two steals.
Emilee Hope led Henderson County with 19 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and three blocked shots. 5-6 8th Grade Graci Risley added six points and three rebounds. 5-9 So. M’Kyra Dixon recorded six points and two rebounds. Alyssa Dickson added five points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
