Friday August 23rd

 

Simon Kenton 38  Henry Clay 27 – Erik Brown led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 190 yards and one touchdown on 29 carries.

 

Johnson Central 49  Lafayette 12 – Dillon Preston carried the ball eight times for 89 yards and a touchdown to lead Johnson Central.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar 35  North Laurel 26 – Jake Smith completed 12 of 20 passes for 285 yards and four touchdowns to lead the victors.  Jamarcus Robinson caught three passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

 

St. Xavier 38  DeSales 7 – St. Xavier QB Douglas Bodhine completed 12 of 18 passes for 293 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Belfry 31  Southwestern 7 – Isaac Dixon carried the ball 10 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns to lead Belfry.

 

Warren East 48  Russellville 0 – Nolan Ford completed six of 12 passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns and carried the ball five times for 63 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Frederick Douglass 43  Bryan Station 0 – Josh McClurg completed five of eight passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns and carried the ball nine times for 87 yards.

 

Lexington Catholic 21  Pulaski County 14 – Lexington Catholic QB Beau Allen completed 22 of 32 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown and ran for two more touchdowns.  Jackson Smith keyed the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.  Pulaski County’s Jake Sloan caught 14 passes for 192 yards.

 

Wayne County 41  Shelby County 30 – Braedon Sloan carried the ball 21 times for 228 yards and four touchdowns to lead Wayne County.

 

Apollo 66  Warren central 56 – Harold Hogg carried the ball 26 times for 192 yards and three touchdowns to lead Apollo.  D’Andre Boyd put up big numbers for Warren Central completing 28 of 45 passes for 461 yards and five touchdowns and carried the ball 22 times for 157 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Bullitt Central 34  Seneca 12 – Kylor Close carried the ball 18 times for 339 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Clay County 44  Floyd Central 20 – Chandler Hibbard carried the ball 28 times for 288 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Lexington Christian Academy 34  Moore 16 – Xavier Brown carried the ball nine times for 129 yards and two touchdowns to lead LCA.

 

Lynn Camp 20  Frankfort 18 – Tyler Ezell completed 12 of 18 passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns and carried the ball four times for 47 yards and a touchdown.

 

Male 42  Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs IN) 13 – Izayah Cummings recorded 177 yards of receiving yards and four touchdowns.

 

Mayfield 45  Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis) TN 22 – Jayden Stinson completed 19 of 28 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns to lead Mayfield.

 

Oldham County 27  Eastern 12 – Juan Tapia carried the ball 29 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns and scored on a kickoff return to lead Oldham County.

 

North Bullitt 40  North Oldham 14 – Cole Durbin carried the ball six times for 136 yards and three touchdowns to lead North Bullitt.

 

Owensboro Catholic 68  Ohio County 27 – Drew Hartz completed 34 of 40 passes for 404 yards and six touchdowns.

 

Scott County 72  Great Crossing 7 – Phillip Garner carried the ball seven times for 220 yards and four touchdowns to lead Scott County.

 

Covington Catholic 37  Ryle 0 – Caleb Jacob completed 12 of 23 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Rowan County 55  Morgan County 0 – Cole Wallace carried the ball eight times for 131 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Shelby Valley 44  Letcher County Central 22 – Dalton Meade carried the ball 28 times for 373 yards and four touchdowns and passed for another touchdown.

Tates Creek 39  Madison Southern 7 – Luke Duby completed 18 of 22 passes for 338 yards and four touchdowns and carried the ball three times for 40 yards to lead Tates Creek.
