Bryan Station vs. Tates Creek

Tates Creek trailed 21-14 at halftime but rallied to earn a 33-27 victory over Bryan Station tonight. Tates Creek recorded 17 first downs and 333 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized eight times for 75 yards. Bryan Station recorded 12 first downs and 271 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized eight times for 64 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.
Willie McGhee led Tates Creek’s ground game with 41 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Luke Duby carried the ball eight times for 39 yards. Cion Townsend added 22 yards on two carries. Marcus Bosley added 21 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Luke Duby completed 17 of 26 passes for 220 yards and three touchdowns. Willie McGhee caught five passes for 62 yards and a touchdown. Miles Thomas added four receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Elliot Bryant caught three passes for 43 yards. Cion Townsend returned one kickoff for 42 yards. Isaiah McFarland led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards. JT Acosta added three solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Kobe Middleton intercepted a pass he returned eight yards and Aaron Klein recovered a fumble.
Joey Bond led Bryan Station’s ground game with 93 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Promesse Kenguruk. carried the ball four times for 25 yards. Amodeus Taylor added 18 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries. Terrick Mulder completed seven of 16 passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Damin Green caught two passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. Dadrien Taylor added two receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown. Damin Green returned one kickoff for 37 yards and returned a punt for 21 yards. Antonio Davis returned one kickoff for 40 yards. Bryson Fields led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles. Dennis Abwe added three solo and three assisted tackles. Joshua Rowe recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.
