Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Henry Clay by a score of 210-13. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 16 first downs and 302 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized seven times for 88 yards and lost a fumble. Henry Clay recorded 11 first downs and 203 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 79 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.
Mitchell Joseph led Dunbar’s ground game with 133 yards on 19 carries. Jacob Greene carried the ball 14 times for 43 yards. Josiah Brown added a touchdown on a three yard run. Jake Smith completed three of seven passes for 34 yards and a touchdown. Mitchell Joseph completed his only pass for 73 yards and a touchdown. Jamarcus Robinson caught two passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. Tyre Garrard caught a 21 yard touchdown pass. Jamarcus Robinson returned two kickoffs for 63 yards with a long return of 47 yards. John Law led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 81 yards. Mitchell Joseph added six solo tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Connor Smith recorded five solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards and intercepted a pass he returned for 42 yards. Josiah Brown added five solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Frank Illunga intercepted a pass.
Jordan Kimball led Henry Clay’s ground game with 40 yards on 11 carries. Walker Champa carried the ball six times for 20 yards. William Webb scored on a two yard run. Christian Barrentine completed 11 of 20 passes for 131 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Ashton Foos caught four passes for 32 yards and a touchdown. Jakobi Godfrey added two receptions for 41 yards. Colton Reynolds returned three kickoffs for 70 yards with a long return of 51 yards. William Webb led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. Chris Dabney added seven solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Darik Holman recorded six solo and one assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.
