Lexington Christian Academy defeated Washington County by a score of 43-14. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 28 first downs and 488 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized five times for 40 yards and lost a fumble. Washington County recorded 13 first downs and 246 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 15 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.
Jayden Barnhardt led LCA’s ground game with 95 yards on nine carries. Thomas White added 61 yards on 12 carries. Will Vernon carried the ball once for 50 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Brown chipped in with 38 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Jeffrey Selby carried the ball six times for 33 yards. Jayden Barnhardt completed 15 of 23 passes for 186 yards and four touchdowns. Dearious Smith caught 10 passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns. Will Vernon added five receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Will Vernon led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles. Mattie Lebryk added two solo and four assisted tackles. Neal Dickey recorded one solo and five assisted tackles. Elijah Hammond added two solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in lost yardage.
Jatavian Churchill led Washington County’s ground game with 144 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. Adarius Walker added 44 yards on five carries. Jatavian Churchill completed seven of 11 passes for 42 yards with two interceptions. Mike Ellery, Jacob Yates, and Matthew Cochran each caught one pass fort 13, 11, and 11 yards respectively. Miguel Alcantara led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles. Jatavian Churchill added four solo and two assisted tackles. Travis Mudd recorded three solo and four assisted tackles.
