Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Taziah Jenks, 5-11 Fr. Amy Thompson, 6-0 Sr. Paige Taylor, 5-5 Sr. Hope Sivori, and 5-7 Sr. Sidney Shephard.  Eastern coach Don Rice countered with 5-10 Jr. Marissa Gasaway, 5-6 Sr. Sheree Latimore, 5-10 Jr. Anna Grace McDaniel, 5-5 So. Halle Brewer, and 5-6 So. Taylor Saettel.

Mercy Academy defeated Eastern by a score of 83-41.  Mercy shot 53.8% from the field including eight of 21 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 40 points off 28 Eastern turnovers. Eastern shot 34.9% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on six of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 Mercy turnovers.

Hope Sivori led Mercy with 18 points including two three point baskets, four assists, and three steals.  Taziah Jenks added 15 points, five rebounds, two blocked shots, and five steals.  Paige Taylor recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  6-1 Fr. Emma Barnett chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.

Marissa Gasaway led Eastern with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  Taylor Saettel added nine points on three three point baskets.
