Frankfort coach Deron Norman started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Madison Close, 5-9 Sr. Gracie Edelen, 5-9 So. Jamaya Chenault, 5-2 Sr. Tianna Mitchell, and 5-5 Fr. Rhealee Ellis.  Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt countered with 5-11 So. Chloe Treece, 5-8 Jr. Ariel West, 5-10 Jr. Emma Frank, 5-6 So. Hannah Carlisle, and 5-8 Jr. Farah Weldon.

Lexington Catholic led 23-8 in the second quarter but had to survive a late rally by Frankfort to win by a score of 53-50 and give Coach Tegt his first victory.  Lexington Catholic shot 33.3% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 19 Frankfort turnovers.  Frankfort shot 31% from the field including four of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on 10 of 24 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 21 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Chloe Treece led Lexington Catholic with 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  Ariel West added 12 points, five rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals.  Emma Frank recorded eight points and 15 rebounds.  Farah Weldon chipped in with seven points and five rebounds.

Jamaya Chenault led Frankfort with 19 points and 13 rebounds.  Tianna Mitchell added 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  Madison Close recorded seven points, four rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  5-7 Jr. Brianna Walker pulled down eight rebounds.
