Butler coach Wayne Foust started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Tiarra East, 5-9 Jr. Khiara Shelburne, 6-1 So. Tamesha Dozier, 5-7 Jr. Dynastee White, and 5-8 Jr.Leslie Baxter.  Christian Academy of Louisville coach Cameron Pridemore countered with 5-10 Sr. Shelby Calhoun, 5-8 Sr. Mia Beam, 5-9 Jr. Alexa Breedlove, 5-6 So. Abigail Embry, and 5-7 So.Jaya McClure.

 

Christian Academy of Louisville trailed 40-34 after three quarters but outscored Butler 18-6 in the final quarter to earn a 52-46 victory over the Bearettes.  The score was tied four times and there were six lead changes in the game.  CAL shot 33.3% from the field including two of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on 14 of20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 23 Butler turnovers.  Butler shot 33.3% from the field including zero of seven from beyond the arc.  The Bearettes connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15CAL turnovers.

 

Jaya McClure led CAL with 16 points including two three point baskets, six of six free throws, four rebounds, and two steals.  Shelby Calhoun added 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and four steals.  Alexa Breedlove recorded 10 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Mia Beam added nine points and four steals.

 

Tiarra East led Butler with 14 points and nine rebounds.  Dynastee White added 10 points, three rebounds, and two steals.  Khiara Shelburne recorded eight points and 10 rebounds.  Tamesha Dozier chipped in with four points and 10 rebounds.
