Simon Kenton coach Jeff Stowers started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Mattie Vickers, 5-9 Sr. Morgan Stamper, 6-0 So. Sereniti Webb, 5-6 Sr. Maggi Jones, and 5-7 Jr. Kady Schawe.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 So. Alex Wolff, 5-10 So. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Sr. Kristen Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Erin Toller, and 5-6 Fr. Triniti Ralston.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Simon Kenton in a hard fought game by the score of 58-53.  The score was tied six times and there were five lead changes in the game. Sacred Heart shot 46.8% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Simon Kenton turnovers.  Simon Kenton shot 32.7% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pioneers connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Kristen Clemons led Sacred Heart Academy with 19 points including nine of 12 free throws, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Erin Toller added 18 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Destinee Marshall recorded eight points, four assists, and three steals.

Mattie Vickers led Simon Kenton with 16 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two assists.  Morgan Stamper added 12 points including seven of 10 free throws, 16 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Sereniti Webb recorded 12 points and seven rebounds.  Maggi Jones added nine points on three three point baskets and three rebounds.
