Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Olivia Cathers, 5-7 So. Lauren Walton, 6-0 So. Anaya Brown, 5-1 Jr. Quaynce Hunt, and 5-6 Jr. Megan Swauger.  Franklin County coach Joey Thacker countered with 5-6 Sr. Jasmine Simpson, 5-6 Jr. Brooklynn Miles, 5-10 So. Patience Laster, 5-2 So. Nevaeh Carter, and 5-4 Sr. Lakin Hamblin.

Franklin County raced out to a 24-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 62-32 victory over Lafayette.  Franklin County shot 47.9% from the field including 11 of 26 from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on five of 14 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 22 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 29.5% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on four of 12 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Franklin County turnovers.

Brooklynn Miles led Franklin County with 20 points including three three point baskets, five assists, and three steals.  Lakin Hamblin added 16 points including four three point baskets.  Jasmine Simpson recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Patience Laster chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Anaya Brown led Lafayette with 11 points and 11 rebounds.  Megan Swauger added seven points and three rebounds.  Lauren Walton chipped in with six points and Olivia Cathers recorded four points and six rebounds.
