Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Aziah Campbell, 5-8 Jr. Haley Gadd, 5-10 Jr. Elise Ellison-Coons, 5-5 So. Carley Hinshaw, and 5-8 Jr. Tanaya Cecil.  Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-7 So. Rachel Smith, 5-7 So. Timothi Williams, 6-0 Fr. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Jr. Braylee McMath, and 5-4 Jr. Hailey Ward.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar led 61-35 after three quarters on their way to a 73-62 victory over Great Crossing.  Dunbar shot 47.5% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 39.6% from the field including nine of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Dunbar turnovers.

 

Aziah Campbell led Dunbar with 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Elise Ellison-Coons added 16 points and five rebounds.  Tanaya Cecil recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  Carley Hinshaw and Haley Gadd also chipped in with 10 points each.

 

Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 17 points including five three point baskets and four rebounds.  Braylee McMath added 16 points, four assists, and three steals.  Rachel Smith recorded 13 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.
