Covenant Christian (IN) coach Amanda Brown started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Samari Douglas, 5-8 Sr.Ilani Williams-Harris, 6-0 So. Anna Guiff, 5-7 So. Patty Chikamba, and 5-7 Sr. Sania Borom.  Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-7 So. Rachel Smith, 5-7 So. Timothi Williams, 5-10 Fr. Emma Boehm, 5-1 Jr. Braylee McMath, and 5-4 Jr. Hailey Ward.

 

Covenant Christian (IN) defeated Great Crossing by a score of 68-57.  Covenant Christian shot 50% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Warriors connected on 10 of15 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored eight points off 14 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 31.3% from the field including nine of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Covenant Christian turnovers.

 

Ilani Williams-Harris led Covenant Christian with 27 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.  Patty Chikamba added 16 points, three assists, and two steals.  Samari Douglas recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds.  Sania Borom added four points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

 

6-0 Fr. Raegan Barrett led Great Crossing with 14 points and four rebounds.  Timothi Williams added 10 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Braylee McMath recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and eight assists.  5-9 8th Grade Ava Schureman chipped in with four points and 10 rebounds.
