Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Campbell DeYoung, 5-10 Jr. Will Stanfield, 6-9 Sr. Ray Surratt, 5-10 Fr. Jayd Huynh, and 5-10 Jr. Kobe Blake.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall countered with 6-2 Sr. Ezekiel Greer, 6-2 Sr. Jacob Goins, 6-2 Sr. Aaron Abrahamson, 6-0 Sr. Chase Widmer, and 6-1 So. Tanner Walton.

Lafayette defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 69-65.  This game had 14 lead changes and six ties.  Lafayette shot 53.5% from the field including nine of 23 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 13 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 42% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers.

Ray Surratt led Lafayette with 15 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Jayd Huynh added 11 points including three three point baskets and five assists.  6-3 So. Abe Nelson chipped in with nine points.  Campbell DeYoung recorded eight points including two three point baskets. 

Tanner Walton led LCA with 25 points including seven of eight free throws, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Aaron Abrahamson added 18 points including four three point baskets, and six of eight free throws.  Ezekiel Greer recorded 17 points including four three point baskets and three assists.
