Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Taziah Jenks, 5-11 Fr. Amy Thompson, 6-0 Sr. Paige Taylor, 5-5 Sr. Hope Sivori, and 5-7 Sr. Sidney Shephard.  Assumption coach Stacy Pendleton countered with 5-11 Sr. Jacqueline Raque, 5-7 Sr. Payton Cronen, 6-3 Sr. Madalynn Nalley, 5-5 Sr. Maddie Reed, and 5-7 Sr. Reese Sexton.

Mercy Academy defeated Assumption by a score of 65-54.  Mercy Academy shot 47.8% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 19 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 31.3% from the field including three of 24 beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 14 Mercy turnovers.

Hope Sivori led Mercy Academy with 27 points including five three point baskets, six of eight free throws and four assists.  Taziah Jenks added 18 points, five rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and five steals.  Paige Taylor recorded 10 points, 14 rebounds, one blocked shot, and five steals.

Jacqueline Raque led Assumption with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists.  Payton Cronen added 12 points and six rebounds.  Maddie Reed recorded 10 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Madalynn Nalley chipped in with eight points.
