Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay Sr. started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Amari Taylor, 5-10 Sr. Cion Townsend, 6-4 Jr. Josh DuToit, 5-7 Sr. Maxwell Morton, and 5-8 Sr. Kaleb Givens.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-2 Sr. Jackson Smith, 6-3 Sr. Luke Wedding, 6-4 Sr. Peyton Pelfrey, 6-2 So. Jack Gohmann, and 6-3 Jr. Ben Johnson. 

Lexington Catholic defeated Tates Creek by the score of 67-53.  Lexington Catholic shot 53.2% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 35.8% from the field including 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 19 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Ben Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 25 points and 10 rebounds.  Jack Gohmann added 13 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Jackson Smith recorded eight points and three steals.  Peyton Pelfrey added eight points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Cion Townsend led Tates Creek with 17 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Amari Taylor added 12 points including two three point baskets and three steals.
