Menifee County coach Paul Ricker started the following lineup: 5-8 Fr. Morgan Wells, 5-6 Fr. Taylor Parks, 6-1 Jr. Kelsey Woodard, 5-4 Sr. Kelsey Evans, and 5-6 Jr. Erin Cornett. Madison Central coach Brad Lovely countered with 5-10 Jr. Raelynn Miller, 5-8 Sr. Taleya Todd, 5-11 Sr. Jekauri McKeithen, 5-4 Fr. Eve Carter, and 5-5 Jr. Brianna Bierbaum.
Madison Central raced out to a 19-9 first quarter lead on their way to a 53-38 victory over Menifee County. Madison Central shot 37.3% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Menifee County turnovers. Menifee County shot 32.5% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cats connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.
Jekauri McKeithen led Madison Central with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Brianna Bierbaum added 13 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals. Taleya Todd recorded eight points, three rebounds, and three assists. 5-11 Jr. Gretchen Hammitt added seven points, six rebounds, and two steals.
Kelsey Woodard led Menifee County with 19 points, nine rebounds, two assists, six blocked shots, and two steals. Kelsey Evans added nine points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists.
