Madison Central coach Brad Lovely started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Raelynn Miller, 5-8 Sr. Taleya Todd, 5-11 Sr. Jekauri McKeithen, 5-4 Fr. Eve Carter, and 5-5 Jr. Brianna Bierbaum. George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham countered with 5-10 Fr. Brianna Byars, 5-7 So. Trinity Gay, 5-10 So. Tyra Flowers, 5-7 Sr. Shelbi Wilson, and 5-7 Sr. Kennedy Igo.
George Rogers Clark raced out to a 50-6 halftime lead on their way to a 61-23 victory. George Rogers Clark recorded 28 steals, three blocked shots, and scored 35 points off 35 Madison Central turnovers. George Rogers Clark shot 42.3% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and held a 19-8 advantage in bench points. Madison Central shot 26.7% from the field including zero of eight from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 GRC turnovers.
Brianna Byars led George Rogers Clark with 12 points and five steals. Tyra Flowers added 11 points including seven of eight free throws, four rebounds, and nine steals. Trinity Gay recorded eight points. Kennedy Igo chipped in with seven points and five steals. 5-8 7th Grade Ciara Byars and 5-4 Jr.Erica Berry also scored seven points each.
Jekauri McKeithen led Madison Central with six points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Taleya Todd added six points, two rebounds, and two steals.
