Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. started the following lineup: 5-9 8th Grade Ava Schureman, 5-7 So. Timothi Williams, 6-0 Fr. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Jr. Braylee McMath, and 5-7 So. Rachel Smith. West Jessamine coach Thomas Chestnut countered with 5-10 So. Aaliyah Edenstrom, 5-8 Jr. Alleyse Steinkuhl, 6-0 So. Delaysia Thomas, 5-5 Jr. Hayley Rutherford, and 5-6 So. Katherine Reed.
Great Crossing recorded 26 steals and three blocked shots and converted 30 turnovers into 46 points in a 78-58 victory over West Jessamine. Great Crossing shot 50% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on seven of seven free throws and pulled down 22 rebounds. West Jessamine shot 44% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on 10 of 20 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Great Crossing turnovers.
Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 30 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and 12 steals. Braylee McMath added 18 points and four assists. Raegan Barrett recorded 12 points. Ava Schureman chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds.
Aaliyah Edenstrom led West Jessamine with 17 points, 16 rebounds, and two steals. Delaysia Thomas added 10 points and Katherine Reed recorded nine points on three three point baskets and six rebounds. 5-6 Fr. Blake Wiley also scored 10 points and pulled down three rebounds.
