Campbell County coach Nolan Boone started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Kylie Koeninger, 5-8 Sr. Hope Russell, 5-9 Sr. Grace Holland, 5-3 Sr. Jalyn Jackson, and 5-6 Sr. Mallory Holbrook.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-10 So. Josie Gilvin, 5-8 Sr. Destinee Marshall, 6-0 Sr. Kristen Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Erin Toller, and 5-6 Fr. Trinity Ralston.

 

Sacred Heart Academy raced out to a 25-9 first quarter lead on their way to a 72-42 victory over Campbell County.  Sacred Heart shot 51.9% from the field including five of 22 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Campbell County turnovers.  Campbell County shot 31.9% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Camels connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Kristen Clemons led Sacred Heart with 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Destinee Marshall added 17 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Erin Toller recorded 15 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Josie Gilvin chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.  Trinity Ralston added nine points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.

 

Mallory Holbrook led Campbell County with 18 points including four three point baskets.  Kylie Koeninger added nine points, six rebounds, and three assists.
