Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Neil Green, 6-5 Fr. Chandler Starks, 7-1 Sr. Noah Hupmann, 6-0 Sr. Grant Disken, and 6-3 Jr. Donovan Stocks.  Ryle coach Keaton Belcher countered with 6-5 Sr. Max Hill, 6-4 Sr. Anthony Caggiano, 6-5 Jr. Graves Fryman, 5-5 So. Connor Bishop, and 6-4 Jr. Tyler Bush.

Covington Catholic outscored Ryle 34-14 in the second quarter on their way to an 89-53 victory.  Covington Catholic shot 54.4% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers.  Ryle shot 50% from the field including eight of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Raiders connected on five of five free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and committed 24 turnovers.

Grant Disken led Covington Catholic with 23 points including four three point baskets, three of three free throws, and five steals.  Donovan Stocks added 17 points, four assists, and five steals.  Neil Green recorded 16 points and six rebounds.  Noah Hupmann chipped in with 14 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Chandler Starks added nine points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Tyler Bush led Ryle with 16 points including three three point baskets.  Anthony Caggiano added 15 points and five assists.  Max Hill pulled down eight rebounds.
