Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Josie Gilvin, 5-8 Sr. Destinee Marshall, 6-0 Sr. Kristen Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Erin Toller, and 5-6 Fr. Trinity Ralston.  South Laurel coach Chris Souders countered with 5-9 Sr. Amerah Steele, 5-8 Sr. Ally Cornett, 5-10 Fr. Emily Cox, 5-5 Jr. Brianna Howard, and 5-6 Sr. Sydnie Hall.

 

Sacred Heart Academy defeated South Laurel by a score of 74-50.  Sacred Heart shot 51.7% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 17 South Laurel turnovers.  South Laurel shot 28.9% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 South Laurel turnovers.

 

Kristen Clemons led Sacred Heart with 24 points including 10 of 12 from the field, four of four free throws and six rebounds.  Triniti Ralston added 15 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Erin Toller recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.  Destinee Marshall chipped in with 11 points, nine assists, and two steals.  5-11 So. Alex Wolff recorded six points and seven rebounds.

 

Ally Cornett led South Laurel with 18 points including 11 of 13 free throws.  Amerah Steele added 13 points and seven rebounds.
