Christian Academy of Louisville coach Cameron Pridemore started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Shelby Calhoun, 5-9 Jr. Alexa Breedlove, 6-0 Jr. Sydney Racque, 5-7 So. Jaya McClure, and 5-8 Sr. Mia Beam.  Mercer County coach Hayley Spivey countered with 5-9 Fr. Timberlynn Yeast, 5-6 So. Love Mays, 5-10 Sr. Channing Lewis, 5-4 Jr. Stevie Shephard, and 5-6 Fr. Anna Kate Drakeford.

 

Christian Academy of Louisville defeated Mercer County by a score of 61-55 to earn the championship.  CAL shot 42.6% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  The Centurions connected on 31 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Mercer County turnovers.  Mercer County shot 32.1% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Titans connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored two points off four CAL turnovers.

 

Shelby Calhoun led CAL with 20 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocked shots.  Jaya McClure added 13 points and six rebounds.  Sydney Racque recorded 11 points and five rebounds.  Mia Beam also scored 11 points.  Sydney Racque, Mia Beam, Jaya McClure and MVP Shelby Calhoun were named to the All Tournament Team.

 

Love Mays led Mercer County with 18 points and seven rebounds.  Channing Lewis added 13 points and four rebounds.  Anna Kate Drakeford recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Timberlynn Yeast added 11 points including five of five free throws, 11 rebounds, and three assists.  Love Mays, Channing Lewis, and Timberlynn Yeast were named to the All Tournament Team.
