Clay County coach Glenn Gray started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Connor Robinson, 6-2 Sr. Jacob Curry, 6-6 Sr. Evan Langdon, 5-10 Sr. Jakob Begley, and 5-11 Jr. Connor Farmer.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Sr. Marques Warrick, 6-1 Sr. Sebian Dillard, 6-6 Sr. .Jackson Phillips, 5-7 Sr.Terron Hughes, and 6-0 Sr. Marquis Mackey.

 

Henry Clay eked out a 70-66 victory over Clay County in a game that had six ties and seven lead changes.  Henry Clay shot 55.3% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Clay County turnovers.  Clay County shot 44.4% from the field including nine of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off six Clay County turnovers.

 

Marques Warrick led Henry Clay with 25 points including five of seven free throws, three rebounds, and four assists.  Marquis Mackey added 20 points.  Sebian Dillard recorded 12 points and five rebounds.

 

Connor Farmer led Clay County with 25 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists.  Jacob Curry added 17 points including two three point baskets.  6-3 Jr. Raven Abner recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Tate Farmer chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.
