Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Olivia Cathers, 5-7 Fr. Kylie Nobel, 6-0 So. Anaya Brown,5-1 So. Catherine Jacobs, and 5-7 So. Lauren Walton.  Berea coach Dammian Stepp countered with 6-0 So. Madison Howell, 5-9 Fr. Chesney Lovins, 6-0 So. Mackenzie Howell, 5-0 So. Isis Rodgers, and 5-8 So.Alexis Newman.

 

Lafayette defeated Berea by the score of 51-34.  Lafayette shot 48.6% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 10 Berea turnovers.  Berea shot 28.9% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pirates connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored three points off seven Lafayette turnovers.

 

Olivia Cathers led Lafayette with 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Lauren Walton added 13 points including two three point baskets and four assists.  Anaya Brown recorded 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Kylie Noble chipped in with 10 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.

 

Madison Howell led Berea with 10 points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Isis Rodgers added six points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Chesney Lovins recorded six points and two rebounds.
