Estill County coach Ruth Hughes started the following lineup: 5-7 Fr. Haley Angel, 5-7 So. Mia Hale, 5-7 So. Hannah Baker, 5-4 7th Grade Jayci Long, and 5-6 Sr. Kaylee Riddell. Lexington Christian Academy coach Haley Lee countered with 5-9 Jr. Gracie Royalty, 5-9 Sr. Mackenzie Buckler, 6-0 Jr. Emilie Teall, 5-4 Fr. Marin Wills, and 5-6 So. Sophia Gabbert.

 

Estill County defeated Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 59-47.  Estill County shot 47.1% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Engineers connected on six of14 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 34.7% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored five points off 13 Estill County turnovers.

 

Mia Hale led Estill County with 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Kaylee Riddell added 14 points, eight rebounds, and two steals.  Jayci Long recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Haley Angel chipped in with eight points.

 

Emilie Teall led Lexington Christian Academy with 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots.  Sophia Gabbert added nine points on three three point baskets.  Gracie Royalty recorded eight points and nine rebounds.  Mackenzie Buckler added eight points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
