Woodford County coach Erik Daniels started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Abby Moffett, 5-5 Jr. Niyaune Gentry, 6-0 Sr. Delaney Enlow, 5-6 Sr. Abbie Hudson, and 5-6 Sr. Kasey Abel.  George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham countered with 5-10 Fr. Brianna Byars, 5-7 So. Trinity Gay, 5-10 So. Tyra Flowers, 5-7 Sr. Shelbi Wilson, and 5-7 Sr. Kennedy Igo.

 

George Rogers Clark dominated play tonight to earn a 63-26 victory over Woodford County in their first game in their new gymnasium.  GRC shot 44.8% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 23 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 26.3% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored three points off eight GRC turnovers.

 

Kennedy Igo led GRC with 20 points including four three point baskets and two steals.  Brianna Byars added 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Tyra Flowers recorded nine points, nine rebounds, and five steals.  Shelbi Wilson chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Trinity Gay added four points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

 

Abby Moffett led Woodford County with nine points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals.  Delaney Enlow added six points, three rebounds, and four blocked shots.  6-1 Sr. Kayla Harlow recorded four points and eight rebounds.
