Eastern Kentucky University coach Samantha Williams started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Samari Mowbray, 5-10 Fr. Ellie Jo Johnson, 6-1 Sr. Jalessa Avery, 6-0 Fr.Ariel Kirkwood, 5-5 Sr. Breuna Jackson, and 5-10 Fr. Tomiyah Alford.

Eastern Kentucky University defeated Morehead State University by the score of 68-47.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 38.1% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers.  Morehead State University shot 27.9% from the field including two of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Golden Eagles connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers.

Teri Goodlett led Eastern Kentucky University with 17 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  5-11 Jr. Bria Bass added 15 points including eight of 10 free throws and seven rebounds.  Qay Stanton recorded 11 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and five steals.  6-1 Fr. Anysa Jordan pulled down 10 rebounds.  Maleaha Bell chipped in with seven points and five rebounds.  I’Liyah Green recorded six points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Ariel Kirkwood led Morehead State University with 12 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and five blocked shots.  Jaleesa Avery added seven points, six rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.  Ellie Jo Johnson chipped in with seven points and five rebounds.
