Dixie Heights coach Roger Stainforth II started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Jason Summe, 5-10 Jr. Ian Snelling, 6-3 Sr. Jacob Iames, 5-5 So. Jay Flynn, and 5-7 So. Keirnan Geraci.  Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-5 Fr. Chandler Starks, 6-3 Sr. Hunter Sommerkamp, 6-5 Sr. Neil Green, 5-9 Jr. Reece Murphy, and 6-0 Sr. Grant Disken.

Covington Catholic defeated Dixie Heights by the score of 77-45.  Covington Catholic shot 60% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and committed 13 turnovers.  Dixie Heights shot 35.1% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and committed 22 turnovers.

Grant Disken led Covington Catholic with 12 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and two steals.  6-3 Jr. Donovan Stocks added 11 points, two rebounds, and four assists.  6-4 So. Colin McHale recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals. Neil Green added 10 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Chandler Starks recorded eight points, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

Ian Snelling led Dixie Heights with 16 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Keirnan Geraci added 13 points including six of eight free throws and three rebounds.  Jason Summe recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three steals.
