Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup:  6-0 Jr. Kenady Tompkins, 6-0  Jr. Kaylie Wise, 6-3 Sr. Malea Williams, 5-5 Sr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-6 So. Emma Price.  Walton-Verona coach Mark Clinkenbeard countered with 5-9 Sr. Emma Strunk, 5-8 So. Maggie Buerger, 5-11 Sr. Emma Gutman, 5-2 Jr. Haylee Neeley, and 5-6 Sr. Addisyn Michael.

Scott County defeated Walton-Verona by the score of 73-63.  The score was tied three times and there were four lead changes in the game.  Scott County shot 41.8% from the field including nine of 25 from  the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Walton-Verona turnovers.  Walton-Verona shot 30.9% from the field including six of 27 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 23 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Scott County turnovers.

Morgan DeFoor led Scott County with 28 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  Malea Williams added 17 points, 15 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  6-3 Jr. Trencye Kenney recorded 11 points and five rebounds. 

Emma Strunk led Walton-Verona with 24 points including two three point baskets, 10 of 10 free throws and seven rebounds.  Haylee Neeley added 17 points including eight of nine free throws and three assists.  Emma Gutman recorded eight points and nine rebounds.
