Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Kenady Tompkins, 6-0 Jr. Kaylie Wise, 6-3 Sr. Malea Williams, 5-5 Sr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-6 So. Emma Price.  Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-9 8th Grade Ava Schureman, 5-8 So. Lelia Custard, 6-0 Fr. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Jr. Braylee McMath, and 5-7 So. Timothi Williams.

 

Scott County defeated Great Crossing by the score of 93-71.  Scott County shot 39.3% from the field including 14 of 46 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 36.8% from the field including eight of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 10 points off eight Scott County turnovers.

 

Malea Williams led Scott County with 23 points including three three point baskets. 15 rebounds, five assists, and two blocked shots.  Morgan DeFoor added 20 points including three three point baskets, 11 assists, and two blocked shots.  5-6 Fr. Tyra Young recorded 14 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds.  Kenady Tompkins chipped in with 13 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Emma Price added 12 points on four three point baskets, five rebounds, and five steals.  Kaylie Wise recorded eight points and eight rebounds.

 

Braylee McMath led Great Crossing with 33 points including five three point baskets and three rebounds.  Timothi Williams added 21 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Raegan Barrett recorded 12 points, eight rebounds.
