Eastern Kentucky University coach Samantha Williams started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Bria Bass, 5-7 Jr. De’Ayra Davis, 6-2 Jr. I’Liyah Green, 5-6 Jr. Teri Goodlett, and 5-6 Jr. Qay Stanton.  Murray State University coach Rechelle Turner countered with 6-0 Jr. Laci Hawthorne, 5-10 So. Alexis Burpo, 6-1 Fr. Macie Gibson, 5-7 So. Lex Mayes, and 5-8 So. Raegan Blackburn.

Murray State University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by the score of 66-65. Alexis Burpo led Murray State with 21 points, three rebounds, and three assists.  Laci Hawthorne added 19 points including seven of seven free throws, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Lex Mayes recorded 11 points including two three point baskets.  5-9 Jr. G’Torria Swinton pulled down 11 rebounds and recorded two steals.

Teri Goodlett led Eastern Kentucky University with 20 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists.  Bria Bass added 16 points and seven rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Catie Kaifes recorded 13 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  I’Liyah Green chipped in with nine points and eight rebounds.
