Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Elise Ellison-Coons, 5-8 So. Aziah Campbell, 5-8 Jr. Haley Gadd, 5-5 So.Carley Hinshaw, and 5-8 Jr.Tanaya Cecil.  Tates Creek coach Matthew Yates countered with 5-8 So. Caty Armishaw, 5-7 Sr. Amanda Kanatzar, 5-8 So. Joyce Mukalamusi, 5-2 So.Alisce Lyvers, and 5-5 So. Maddie Kauffman.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Tates Creek by the score of 62-46.  Dunbar shot 40.4% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 27.3% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 21 Dunbar turnovers.

 

Elise Ellison-Coons led Dunbar with 18 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Haley Gadd added 15 points and six rebounds.  Aziah Campbell recorded nine points, three rebounds, and three steals.  Tanaya Cecil chipped in with eight points, three assists, and three steals.  Carley Hinshaw added six points, six rebounds, and seven assists.

 

Maddie Kauffman led Tates Creek with 11 points, three rebounds, and two steals.  Alisce Lyvers added eight points.  Caty Armishaw recorded seven points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.
