Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. started the following lineup: 5-9 8th Grade Ava Schureman, 5-7 So. Rachel Smith, 6-0 Fr. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Jr. Braylee McMath, and 5-7 So. Timothi Williams. Franklin County coach Joey Thacker countered with 5-11 So. Jazmin Chambers, 5-6 Sr.Jasmine Simpson, 6-0 So. Gracie Thacker, 5-6 Jr. Brooklynn Miles, and 5-4 Sr.Lakin Hamblin.
Franklin County defeated Great Crossing by the score of 62-46. Franklin County shot 41.3% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Flyers connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 12 Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 36% from the field including seven of 24 from beyond the arc. The Warhawks connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 Franklin County turnovers.
Brooklynn Miles led Franklin County with 27 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. 5-5 So. Shauvi Kennedy added 18 points including 12 of 13 free throws. Jasmine Simpson recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
Timothi Williams led Great crossing with 12 points including two three point baskets. Braylee McMath added 10 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Raegan Barrett recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.
