Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. started the following lineup: 5-9 8th Grade Ava Schureman, 5-7 So. Rachel Smith, 6-0 Fr. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Jr. Braylee McMath, and 5-7 So. Timothi Williams. Madison Central coach Brad Lovely countered with 5-10 Jr. Gretchen Hammitt, 5-9 Sr. Taleya Todd, 5-11 Sr. Jekauri McKeithen, 5-4 Fr. Eve Carter, and 5-5 Jr. Brianna Bierbaum.
Great Crossing pulled away in the second half to defeat Madison Central by a score of 59-44. There were four ties and nine lead changes in this game. Great Crossing shot 37.9% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line. Taleya Todd led Madison Central with 13 points. Jekauri McKeithen added 11 points, 15 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Eve Carter recorded nine points, six rebounds, five assists, and five steals.
