Elizabethtown (29-5) vs. Lexington Catholic (32-4)  Championship Game

 Elizabethtown coach James Haire started the following lineup:  5-9 Sr. Jason Johnston, 6-1 Sr. Chris Williams, 6-7 Sr. Nathan Sexton, 6-5 Sr. Antwain Barbour, and 6-0 Jr. Josh Pedigo.  Lexington Catholic coach Danny Haney countered with 6-3 Sr. Ben Wilson, 5-11 Sr. David Hewitt, 6-4 Sr. Matt Heissenbuttel, 6-5 Sr. Will Harris, and 6-2 Sr. Kip Wellman.

Elizabethtown staged a great comeback to defeat Lexington Catholic 79-69 to claim the state championship.  Catholic led 38-25 at halftime but E-town went on a 31-9 run in the third quarter to lead at the break 56-47. E-town played a solid fourth quarter to secure the win. E-town was paced by their three senior stars.  Antwain Barbour led the scoring with 31 points.  Chris Williams added 25 points including 14 points in the decisive third quarter.  Nathan Sexton added 9 points and pulled down 20 rebounds.  Catholic was led by Matt Heissenbuttel with 25 points.  Will Harris added 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Lexington Catholic (69) – Harris 20, Wellman 5, M. Heissenbuttel 25, Hewitt 5, Wilson 8, Wolford 2, Morton 2, Rose 2.
