Coach Mark Spader’s Bowling Green Purples enters this team with 9-2 record.  Javeius Bunton led the ground game with 964 yards and 19 touchdowns on 185 carries.  Conner Cooper carried the ball 80 times for 428 yards and six touchdowns.  Conner Cooper completed 131 of 266 passes for 1686 yards and 13 touchdowns with six interceptions.  Jordan Dingle caught 36 passes for 473 yards and two touchdowns.  Eli Burwash added 23 receptions for 354 yards and four touchdowns.  Tyler Strode caught 24 passes for 259 yards and three touchdowns.  Javeius Bunton recorded 22 receptions for 253 yards and two touchdowns.  Javeius Bunton recorded 132 points including 21 touchdowns and three 2-point conversions.  Conner Cooper added 38 points including six touchdowns and a 2-point conversion.  Eli Burwash added 36 points on six touchdowns.

Coach Jayson Fallin’s Owensboro Red Devils enters this game with a 12-0 record.  Ethan Avery leads the ground game with 630 yards and nine touchdowns on 97 carries.  Gavin Wimsatt carried the ball 80 times for 408 yards and six touchdowns.  Gavin Wimsatt completed 145 of 235 passes for 2070 yards and 26 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.  Treyvon Tinsley caught 42 passes for 602 yards and 10 touchdowns.  Ben Flaherty added 24 receptions for 473 yards and eight touchdowns.  Steven Stevenson caught 24 passes for 342 yards and two touchdowns.  Khalil Rogers chipped in with 26 receptions for 334 yards and two touchdowns.  Ethan Avery caught 23 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns.  Ethan Avery recorded 74 points on 12 touchdowns and 0ne 2-point conversion.  Treyvon Tinsley added 68 points including 11 touchdowns and one 2-point conversion.  Ben Flaherty scored 60 points on 10 touchdowns.  Gavin Wimsatt added 38 points on six touchdowns and one 2-point conversion.

Bowling Green played an aggressive ball hawking defense intercepting two passes and defeating Owensboro by the score of 17-7.  Bowling Green led 17-0 and gave up a late touchdown to account for the final score.  Owensboro ran 83 offensive plays compared to 48 for Bowling Green.  Bowling Green recorded 10 first downs and 199 yards of total offense.  The Purples were penalized five times for 47 yards.  Owensboro recorded 20 first downs and 299 yards of total offense.  The Red Devils were penalized three times for 32 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Javeius Bunton led Bowling Green’s ground game with 67 yards on 18 carries.  Conner Cooper carried the ball 10 times for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Jordan Dingle recorded six yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Conner Cooper completed 11 of 17 passes for 83 yards.  Jordan Dingle caught five passes for 42 yards.  Tyler Moore led the defense with 11 solo and three assisted tackles and was named the Game MVP.  Bert Kibawa added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Rece Jones recorded three solo and five assisted tackles.  Eli Burwash added two solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 15 yard loss and intercepted a pass.  A. Nyembo also intercepted a pass.

Gavin Wimsatt led Owensboro’s ground game with 13 yards and 14 carries.  Gavin Wimsatt completed 31 of 60 passes for 279 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.  Ethan Avery caught 11 passes for 88 yards.  Treyvon Tinsley added eight receptions for 74 yards.  Steven Stevenson caught six passes for 80 yards.  K. Williams caught a four yard touchdown pass.  Ben Flaherty returned two punts for 15 yards with a long return of 10 yards.  Austin Gough led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles.  M. Moorman added five solo and one assisted tackles.  Kenyatta Carbon and Javius Taylor each recorded three solo and two assisted tackles.
