Lexington Catholic coach Donald L. Tegt started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Chloe Treece, 5-6 Jr. Hannah Carlisle, 5-9 Sr. Julia Madry, 5-5 So. Mary-Martin Hampton, and 5-7 So. Katherine Truitt.  Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis countered with 5-11 Jr. Macie Daniels, 5-7 Sr. Lacie Parks, 6-0 Jr. Reece Estep, 5-6 Jr. Morgan Flannery, and 5-7 Sr. Samantha Cornelison.

Madison Southern defeated Lexington Catholic by the score of 60-53.  The score was tied seven times and there were five lead changes in the game.  Madison Southern shot 42.9% from the field including nine of 21 from the three point line.  They connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 20 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 37% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Madison Southern turnovers.

Samantha Cornelison led Madison Southern with 19 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals.  Morgan Flannery added 12 points.  Lacie Parks recorded nine points on three three point baskets and four assists.  Reece Estep chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  5-10 So. Bella Moberly added four points and six rebounds.

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 20 points including seven of eight free throws and 13 rebounds.  Chloe Treece added 15 points.  Hannah Carlisle recorded six points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
