Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Kaylie Wise, 5-7 Jr. Brianna Penney, 6-0 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-6 Jr. Emma Price, and 5-6 Fr. Maleiyah Moore. George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham countered with 5-10 So. Brianna Byars, 5-8 8th Grade Ciara Byars, 5-10 Jr. Tyra Flowers, 5-4 Sr. Erica Berry, and 5-7 Jr. Trinity Gay.
George Rogers Clark defeated Scott County by the score of 64-34. GRC shot 31.9% from the field including one of 21 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 37 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 27.1% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 GRC turnovers.
Trinity Gay led George Rogers Clark with 12 points and three steals. Brianna Byars added 11 points and five steals. Tyra Flowers recorded nine points and nine rebounds. Ciara Byars chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.
Emma Price led Scott County with 15 points including two three point baskets. 5-6 So. Tyra Young added six points and four rebounds. Kaylie Wise recorded five points and five rebounds. Kenady Tompkins pulled down 12 rebounds and recorded five assists.
