Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Darik Holman, 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-2 Sr. Harrison Lynch, 5-8 Jr. Sincere Madison, and 6-1 Jr. Kanye Henderson.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-5 Jr. Tim Hall, 6-4 Jr. Zach Carter, 6-8 Jr. Lionel Kumwimba, 6-0 So. Nick Spalding, and 6-3 Jr. Cade Hilt.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar raced out to an 18-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 69-60 victory over Henry Clay.  Paul Laurence Dunbar shot 50% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 33.9% from the field including six of 19from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 22 Dunbar turnovers.

 

Tim Hall led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 22 points, 18 rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots.  Nick Spalding added 13 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Lionel Kumwimba recorded six points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots.  Zach Carter chipped in with six points and seven rebounds.

 

Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 23 points including two three point baskets, two assists, and three steals.  Kanye Henderson added 18 points including two three point baskets, and 10 of 14 free throws.  5-8 So. Konlin Brown recorded eight points including two three point baskets.  Darik Holman chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, and two steals.
