Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-2 Jr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Sr. Elias Richardson, 5-8 Sr. Chase Grigsby, and 6-1 Jr. Micah Glenn.  Mason County coach Brian Kirk countered with 6-2 So. Terrell Henry, 5-11 Jr. Mason Butler, 6-4 Sr.Evan Schumacher, 5-9 Sr. Anwar Perry, and 5-11 Jr. Nate Mitchell.

 

6-1 So.Philip Bierley hit the winning shot in overtime to give Mason County a 66-64 victory over Scott County.  Scott County led 27-13 in the second quarter but the Royals rallied for the victory.  There were 10 ties and six lead changes in this game.  Mason County shot 42.6% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line.  The Royals connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 50% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Mason County turnovers.

 

Nate Mitchell led Mason County with 20 points including two three point baskets.  Terrell Henry added 16 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  6-1 So. Philip Bierley recorded 10 points and 12 rebounds.  Mason Butler chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and two steals.

 

Isaiah Haynes led Scott County with 19 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  6-3 Jr. Nick Mosby added 14 points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Elias Richardson recorded 12 points and Jeremy Hamilton pulled down 10 rebounds.  Chase Grigsby chipped in with five points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
