Bryan Station vs. Great Crossing (Girls)

Bryan Station Brian Hall started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Tania Woodall, 5-8 Jr. TaShawna Jackson, 5-9 Fr. Kailyn Gentry, 5-2 Sr. Natoria Godoy, and 5-5 So. Emily Gomez.  Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-10 So. Emma Boehm, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Smith, 6-0 So. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Sr. Braylee McMath, and 5-5 So. Emily Gomez.

 

Great Crossing raced out to a 28-10 first quarter lead on their way to an 86-50 victory over Bryan Station.  Great Crossing shot 56.7% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  The Warhawks connected on three of four free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 16 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 39.6% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on four of 12 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Great Crossing turnovers.

 

Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 20 points and six rebounds.  Braylee McMath added 17 points, three rebounds, six assists, and six steals.  Raegan Barrett recorded 12 points.  5-9 Fr. Ava Schureman chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.  5-4 Sr. Haley Ward added seven points, seven rebounds, and two assists.  5-8 Jr. Leila Custard also scored seven points.  Rachel Smith recorded eight points including two three point baskets.

 

Natoria Godoy led Bryan Station with 17 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Tania Woodall added 12 points, seven rebounds, and two steals.  5-6 So. Makari Murphy recorded seven points.  5-7 So. Lyric Lilly chipped in with six points.
